Our Team
Scott Althouse
Scott is President of Alidade Technology. Prior to joining, Alidade Scott was a software account manager and a Rational brand specialist for IBM Software. He has spent more than 10 years as both a sales leader, and product technologist focusing on software development and supporting customers in almost all industries. Before joining Rational, Scott spent 10 years as an analyst/engineer in the defense community with GE Aerospace/Lockheed Martin. In this role he led the requirements definition and analysis for large development efforts as well as evangelizing object-oriented technologies to key projects. Scott also served as the Director of Business Development for a local consulting firm. He has more than 20 years of experience in development, process definition, product management, and sales in support of software development activities.
Joe Barnes
Joe is a Principal Partner of Alidade Technology. Before joining Alidade, Joe was a Certified Software Architect for IBM Rational. As a senior member of the Rational staff, Joe's responsibilities included ensuring that customers who purchased IBM Rational tooling were properly trained and enabled to help guarantee successful adoption of the technology. Joe served as a board member on IBM Software's Technical Certification Board where he guided and advised IBM technology staff. Joe has worked for a number of customers in a wide variety of industries and disciplines ranging from process definition and requirements management to modeling and building out MDA style development environments. Joe has published a number of articles and whitepapers internally at IBM, and has written for external publications throughout his career including Microsoft and TechRepublic. Joe assists clients in the analysis, design, and overall strategic planning required to manage their software development lifecycle. Joe has over 15 years experience building software on a number of platforms, utilizing a number of different technologies.
Nick Manatos
Nick is a Software Sales Director of Alidade Technology. Prior to joining Alidade, Nick was a software sales specialist for both IBM Rational and Telelogic for a combined 8+ years. He has spent more than 10 years focused on helping individuals and organizations in almost all industries to produce higher quality software as efficiently and effectively as possible thru the leveraging of IBM Rational and Telelogic solutions as well as industry best practices. Nick also held the position of Senior Sales Executive for an IBM Software partner in the NY/NJ Metro area.
Mills Ripley
Mills is a Software Sales Director at Alidade Technoogy. He has over 25 years of computer industry experience in both technical and management positions. Mills comes to us via the BSD Group, where he managed technical sourcing and resale relationships pertaining to BSD's IBM Rational software products and consulting services. Mills worked as a Technical Representative, Technical Lead, and District Manager at Rational Software from 1997 until their acquisition by IBM in 2003, at which point he served as a Technical Sales Manager for the IBM Rational Software brand. Prior to Rational, he served in the office of the CTO at Xerox Corp., with a mission of enabling the Xerox IT department in object oriented technologies, organizational modeling, and iterative and incremental software development processes.
